MCKINNEY CONCERTS
A trend-setter in
entertainment proudly presents our 37th season:
2010-2011 Concert Season

JIMMY TRAVIS- One man, One
Guitar
September 11
7:30pm - 10:00pm
www.JimmyTravis.com
As one reviewer put it: 'Jimmy Travis took the
stage and within minutes made everyone in the
audience feel like his new best friend. His
presentation was hilarious, clean, and
definitely had something for everyone. His
approach to humor was very refreshing in a day
and age when so many lace their shows with
profanity' VARIETY
Attempting to describe a Jimmy Travis show or
presentation is a lot like trying to herd cats!
It's not impossible, but definitely takes some
doing. He's funny, creative, spontaneous,
energetic, and since he frequently interacts
with the audience, no two shows are ever the
same! Simply put, Jimmy Travis is unique!

TAKE ME HOME:
The Music of JOHN DENVER
November 6
7:30pm - 10:00pm
www.JimCurrymusic.com
The tragedy of John Denver's untimely death in
1997 was felt the world over, and his ardent
fans demanded his music must survive. In
response, CBS television produced the TV movie:
"Take Me Home, The John Denver Story." Jim Curry
was the voice of John Denver. From his early
beginning, Jim Curry created a full-length John
Denver tribute celebrated nationall...y and
internationally. Jim does not impersonate John;
rather, he sings in his natural voice. It is a
happy coincidence that Jim bears a resemblance
to Denver. John Denver's message was for us to
take care of each other and this planet. Jim
Curry is the perfect messenger for John, and
November is the perfect month to hear John's
message.
